Liverpool Football Club is an English professional football club based in Anfield, Liverpool. The club currently plays in the Premier League, of which it was a founding member in 1992, and has competed in European competition every year since the 1999–2000 season. The club were founded in 1892 after Everton left Anfield after a dispute over rent. They were admitted to The Football League a year later, and first competed in Europe during the 1964–65 season. Liverpool have played at Anfield since their foundation, although the club have plans to move to a new stadium in the nearby Stanley Park.

Having won a joint-record 18 league titles, seven FA Cups and a record seven League Cups, Liverpool is is the joint most successful club in the history of English football and one of the wealthiest and most widely supported football teams in the world. Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite (Portuguese pronunciation: [ʁiˈkaɾdu iˈzɛksõ duˈsɐ̃tus ˈlejtʃi]; born 22 April 1982), commonly known as Kaká, is a Brazilian football midfielder who currently plays for Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team. He started his footballing career at the age of eight, when he began playing for a local club. At the time, he also played tennis, and it was not until he moved on to São Paulo FC and signed his first professional contract with the club at the age of fifteen that he chose to focus on football. In 2003 he joined A.C. Milan for a fee of €8.5 million. While at Milan, Kaká won the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year awards in 2007. In addition to his contributions on the pitch, Kaká is known for his humanitarian work. Davor Šuker, (born 1 January, 1968 in Osijek) is a retired Croatian footballer. He is best known for his goal scoring ability, which has earned him a spot in FIFA top 100 greatest players. He played as a striker for a number of European clubs as well as the Croatian national team, where he is the all-time top goal scorer with 45 goals.

Šuker began his footballing career in his hometown, playing for the local first division team Osijek as a 16-year-old. During his final season there, he became the league’s top goal scorer. He signed for a bigger club, Dinamo Zagreb in 1989. The war in Croatia halted a promising season for the 21-year-old, eventually resulting in Šuker’s move to Sevilla in 1991. The Adidas Jabulani is the official match ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The ball, created by sports manufacturer Adidas, was developed at Loughborough University in the UK, and was unveiled in Cape Town, South Africa on December 4, 2009. Jabulani means “rejoice” in Zulu and is similar to “Jebulane”.

The ball was also used as the match ball of 2009 FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, and a special version of the ball, the Jabulani Angola, was the match ball of the 2010 African Cup of Nations.
