 AC Milan Is 2010/11 Serie A ChampionsAC Milan won the title this evening a success that the Italian Serie A-18 after a goalless draw at home to AS Roma. Additional one point is enough to secure the Rossoneri to the ladder champion with the advantages of nine points over rivals Inter Milan with three games remaining.

Before the game was held, Massimiliano Allegri squad came to the Stadio Olimpico in the hope of reaching at least one point which certainly enough for scudetto 2010/11. While the new Inter play host Fiorentina game tonight.

Milan lead the standings since late November without experiencing many obstacles, even though they had shaved the advantage to two points at the end of March. However, the results obtained in the last six strengthened the position of the Rossoneri at the top.

This was Milan’s first scudetto since 2003/04. In that season, they finished with 11 points advantage over the opponent on this night, AS Roma, under the tutelage of Carlo Ancelotti, and this time his debut season at the San Siro Allegri sweet fruition.

Since led by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi as president of the club, Milan have won eight Serie A titles and also won the European Cup five times. Berlusconi had recently celebrated 25 years of leading the club.
